Ivan Mihaljevic & Side Effects - Counterclockwise

Counterclockwise: interesting intros devolve into the "loud" the sound is exploring different musical textures and sounds.

I was taken away by a particular song on the album entitled Gilded Cage. The soft and slow start leaves a bit of anticipation for a high sounding beautiful pitch perfect song.

What makes this band so great is you actually don't have to blast your radio to hear them or make out what they are saying.  I'm a rocker girl and I love seeing and hearing new bands. When I was 7 my brother introduced me to my first band and I loved listening to them, that is why I am so drawn to the new age voice. Ivan brings more to the song then just a powerful voice but real emotion and feeling deep in the depths of his poetic soul. There is no such thing as backup singers in this band, they all equally thrive with forceful song and take me off my feet with their unbelievable sound (they absolutely rock!).

I have to say Eclipse is a stunning song.

The feeling that overcame me was, and I know this sounds weird but Alice in wonderland. It had a child-like beginning that made me picture myself as Alice skipping on my way through a magical place. I felt excited to read while I was listening. After a few minutes of the child feeling that came over me the song then delivered a awesome hard-core sound that dare I say made me jump out of my seat grab my lighter and be the dork I am and light up like I was at a concert.

Counterclockwise makes for a brilliant listen and rock out time.
